Hello All

Can someone guide me in this regard ?

* I recently received CSQ from quebec. i am confused with multiple links for federal forms. Can anyone please guide me to the correct link where the federal forms are available that need to be submitted ? unfortunately the link mentioned in CSQ is not working.
* Also do i need to submit Police clearance certificate along with Federal application ? I stay in bangalore india. There are two forms available from police department Police Clearance certificate (from passport office) and Police verification certificate (from Commisioners office..). These two have different process to get them. Can someone guide me which one to submit ?
* Also does the police certificate need to be taken for each one individually including minors ?

Thanks in advance.

Can some one provide an update ?
* Link for federal forms: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EQ7TOC.asp

* Apply PCC through passport office (In addition, both way are right so don't confuse)

* Get PCC for you, your spouse and child 18 years and above

Congratulations! February 13 is Saturday, they are working on weekend? How about today, I heard it's family day in Canada while it's President's day in US?

Medical results have been received. (jan 16)

i sent RPRF up front. i stayed in CAnada since 18 so i guess i have RCMP left.. I dont know when i would get my DM lol
Hi Ldmtl,
As per QSW Federal Tracker you are leading the group of June Ottawa applicants posting here, and we are hoping you get DM soon!!

Why do you think they should send you RCMP next? Haven't you sent PCC upfront?

I am from June 09, 2015 and sent PCC upfront. They asked me for RCMP in November, but as I was told they only ask for RCMP when there is someone with similar name/birth date as yours; otherwise they will carry out background check on their own without asking for RCMP.

Because i think i only have RCMP left. I stayed in CAnada since 18 so i think i dont have to send PCC ( just to verify i did not send any paper for PCC due to the fact that i live in montreal since 18 and now i am 24). For the RCMP i dont know if anybody else have the same name in the system.

I think you are right, you have already completed all these requirements.
Honestly, I haven't heard of this kind of letter before, but I guess they are expecting to finish processing your application soon and wanted you to update your passports and any other missing document or information from your application.
I hope so
Good luck to you

Hello guys,

Today I received a letter from CIC asking me to

  • make sure that the passport is not expiring soon
  • submit the police certificates
  • missing information in the background form
  • pay the RPRF

I have a couple of question:

  • My passport has enough time before expiring. But I filled the background form, and attached separate sheets as there was no room for all the information. Shall I submit it again? as they say at the end if you already did that, ignore the request!!
  • For the police certificate, they didn't mention the countries where I must get the PCC from. I live in Canada, shall I do one from here?
  • They said for the PCC and RPRF receipt, I can submit them electronically via the case specific enquiry form. Shall I go with this option? or use the regular mail? If I submit background form again, probably I have to submit regular mail anyway!!
  • They haven't asked me about the MR yet? Is this normal? and how long the application processing time will take after the MR?

Thanks
