From my point of view, it will not make a problem as you sent the initial application which show that you have not got the PGWP, also they understand that you will or you will get the post graduation work permit after finishing studies and you can update your status after you get your file number
so do not worry it is not a big problem for them
you can ask your university at the international office who help student for their applications and good luck

Thanks a lot, that makes me feel a bit better. The only thing is that since they sent the application back to us after her study permit expired, we probably should have updated her proof of status to her work permit, but instead it ends up being sent to them months after her status expired, with no proof that she is currently legal in Canada under a different status. But she IS legally here, with her work permit. And we did resend the original cover letter that explained that her status was expiring in September, but that the work permit application was underway... it's just that we've received that work permit since then and her study permit that's in the application has actually expired now... I'm a bit worried because usually they do treat these as brand new applications when they're resent.

Relax, what is the worst that can happen? They resend the application back, and you send it again. You're not going to lose a lot of time.
How long did they take to send your application back?

3 to 4 months each time, it's not the biggest deal for now but her PGWP lasts 3 years... delays piling up could end up being problematic in the long run. Plus it's just a whole process we'd like to clear asap, considering it's been a long, arduous and stressful process

Look what I know the most important thing to them is a complete application with clear information about your past before coming Canada. but the your legally stay is not a problem from them as they have all your documents and as I told you they know that you will get PGWP and you can update your status after getting file number also you almost now 3 month if there is any thing else they would sent you before that time because they already checked your application and they do not need a lot of time line the first time
just have faith and keep calm waiting for the file number and good luck

She should have the same ID/UCI (unique client identifier) on both work permits,, in this case CIC will know that she has a new valid PGWP and I don't see it as big problem to refuse the application again...
check the UCI on both work permits and let us know...

It's indeed the same UCI! Does that mean they'll be able to check on their side and it should be ok? Should we contact them about this?

Yes CIC will know when processing starts , and you won't get rejected for that for sure.. at first they check the forms and checklist if complete and eligible then they send AOR with file number , all other details will be checked when the processing starts (after AOR) .. you can update CIC with the change of status after you get your AOR .

Chill out and wait for AOR ( 3 to 4 months),, it is up to you if you want to check with CIC but i see it unnecessary at this stage.

Did MIDI asked you send such document before you got your CSQ

Hope to see some replies on it

Also what Labels means as MIDI always ask to send the LABELS ? Please if anybody have clarification on what Labels are kindly mentioned

LABELS
37. If the alphabet of your home language is different from the Latin alphabet, you must provide three

Hello
my federal file sent : October 2015
I called CIC , they informed me that there is no data for me.
, the receipt number I provided they informed me that is available.
I would know is that normal?
thanks

Hello everyone,

The office received my application on July 21, 2015 and I got my AOR on Nov 12. 2015.

It's been almost 3 months but I haven't received medical request and I've seen people getting their MR in 2months.

Is there anyone else who applied around the same time as me and is still waiting for their MR?

Thanks in advance!

Hello, I think this should be normal right now, since it just past three months for you, sometimes it has delay. When you sent your file, did you track it and does CIC signed to receive?
