Did you get your Medical Request?

They are asking for my spouse medical exams. But the thing is she did her medicals 6 months ago under Work permit application. Now that when I call for a medical appointment, the medical office is saying they are not authorized to do medicals within 12 month irrespective of immigration category unless specifically requested to do so by CIC.

Anyone had a similar situation ?

Ottawa office. App filed 30 March 2015, AOR 10 July 2015, RPRF paid 05 November 2015.

Please share your timelines for federal stage and lets eliminate curiosity of others.

For me I've recently got CSQ and will apply for federal as soon as I have all the documents.

Do you have any proof of completion of medical exam for your wife(Fee payment receipt or e-medical receipt)? If yes, you can email it to Ottawa and request them to consider it. You still have 6 months validity left so this shouldn't be a problem.

I was in a similar situation last year. My wife gave medicals when applying for her OWP. However, after applying for PR, CIC sent medical requests for both of us. I did my medicals only and requested VO to consider my wife's previous medicals. Apparently, they considered my requests however, as soon as my wife's previous medical expired, they requested new medicals for my wife.

My federal application timeline is very similar to your:
Application received June 09, 2015
AOR received on Sept 01, 2015
They started processing application on Sept 01, 2015
RCMP requested on November 09

But still waiting for MR.

startted processing as per ecas on sept 25th 2015,

no further communication....

She did her medicals back in 2014 and I believe the cost was around PKR 4500. Tests were done in Islamabad. I don't know if Lahore and Karachi centers have the same cost.
