Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Hi, I received my CSQ under QSWP in October 2025. I applied federal in early November 2025 and received my AOR and biometric request on 15th Feb 2026. I gave my biometrics on march 10 2025, and have not received any update since then. I can't find my file on PR tracker as well.
Anyone in the same boat?

Same here. CSQ-based PR applications, or more broadly Quebec-selected PR applications, are usually not available in the PR Tracker. Applicants mainly rely on GCKey, ECAS if available, GCMS notes, webform updates, or direct IRCC communication. After the biometrics, there is no any update.

Do you know about the average timeline of the total processing? And were you inland or outland applicant?

I'm inland. You can check the processing time on ircc, choose the project and the date you applied, it will show you current processing time.

Already checked it, but which file type to choose? There is no option for Permanent Residence

Hi everyone, did anyone who applied back in end 2024-2025 and got stuck in background check got any news recently? I now understand that CBSA 'release' their clearings by bunch, once in a few months..not often than that

I just received my gcms notes and there is a note from March saying "Officer review. Security review on-going."
But in the admissibilities section, it says that the security hasn't started and it was last updated on February 2025.
So who knows what is the actual status.

I really hope they are looking into it but there is no way to know any details with these vague notes.
20 months waiting now... nice!

Good morning, try to run it by ChatGPT, to get some better understanding with possible past cases reported.. not 100% reliable, but for sure another 'pair of eyes'..us too - 19 months exactly today. Applied for updated notes about a month ago, nothing yet as of now

Same here, applied in September 2024 for PR through CSQ and last update i received was in Feb 2025 when they requested an updated CV. Did not hear anything ever since. GCMS notes show i am still in comprehensive background check.

Same for me. Applied in October 2024 and CV requested in January 2025--no update since then. CBSA notes in May showed they haven't touched the file in 15 months.
