This is a post in redit from someone that consistently collected data ref timelines and made some statistics
Hello team. I submitted my PR application recently. I just wanted to confirm something on the schedule A form (personal history section). So I was a student from Sep-2022 to April 2024 in Canada. However, I kind of worked part-time in between studies. I recorded my studies period and continued on. Should I have added the part time job as well? Please advise

Has anyone who has applied in April received their final decision yet? I got my Biometerics and AOR at the same time so is it safe to assume maybe Final decision and P1 may arrive at the same time too? This is what my gckey says:

I find it weird that previously under medical it had mentioned “passed on 27th May” now it has just disappeared .

Expecting a final decision in less than two months is extremely optimistic. The median AOR-to-P1 is about four months, so, for half of all the cases in these community stats (that's hundreds of them per week), it takes longer. Yes, you can argue that for the streams with a provincial part, such as all QC cases, the federal part tends to be shorted but FD in under two months means your case must be in the 12-13% of the fastest ones.
P1 used to arrive a few days after the FD but these days it can take up to a few weeks: cases can be "recommended for approval" instead or approved.
At least don't expect to have your eCOPR ready to download the day after you upload your photo and address to the PR portal. And your PR card won't arrive in a couple of weeks after you become a PR, that takes over two months at the moment after you become a PR (receive your eCOPR).
