Wow, Congs! DM drizzle comes, expect DM storm ...
Hello Everyone,
I am quite new to this forum. So I have received my CSQ in August and I have submitted the PR application in September ending and the mail shows as delivered on October 03, 2017. Since then I have not received anything from them nor have I had any update on the status.When I try to link the application online, the results do not find anything. In this scenario do I need for them to contact me through mail first or what would be the next steps?

Wait till you get AOR(An email with application number). It will take around 4 months.
So. Is this person going to get email for AOR if he/she does not link application with MyCIC? I thought AOR email will only come if application is linked with MyCIC.
Linking application is independent or receiving emails like AOR, MR ,PPR etc. He will receive AOR even if application is not linked. My application was linked after MR. My friend never linked application till DM, he was checking status on eCAS all the time.

Just checked My CIC and my BG Check finally changed from Not Applicable to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information".
Hope this means DM in the next days...
I'm an inland applicant.
1. Application Received............17-11-2016
2. AOR Received......................19-02-2017
3. Med's Requested..................05-04-2017
4. Med's Done...........................21-04-2017
