We have another issue as expecting medical in next couple of weeks (AOR 16 feb, Landing fee 17 March) and PPR in July or August, now we have Dilemma should we go ahead with kids school for next session or not.

Any suggestion.

As the other fellow applicants suggested, life continue as usual. You should only start looking at timing when you complete your medical. The landing visa once issued will be valid one year from the medical exam date.

Not an expert. CIC counts time from the date application reaches Sydney Office and right now processing time is 13 months.

That is correct. It is from the date CIC recieves the application.

Why if your signature says PCC received by Sydney if your VO is Ottawa..also PCC submission acknowledgement is for soft copy submission or physical submission...I am asking because I have acknowledgement for soft copy submission only and nothing for physical copy submission.. my VO is Ottawa

It is strange that CIC is communicating via mail. My understanding is that AOR is sent over email. Even when it comes to the other requests, they are all sent over email. It is good that you have access to your account using ECAS, you can also link it using GCKey which will provide additional details.

What messages you see when you click on your ECAS link? It would show any communications that may have been sent to you. GCKey will give even more details.

But I haven't seen this kind of update on any of the applicant/member.

However I think the processing has already been started once they have asked for the medical exams and RPRF fee.
