Quebec,indian applicant timeline and experience with process.

Hi al,
I applied for csq in 2011. I got csq in october 2014..after that all the formalities were done. My mediacal is also done and updated in april 2015. After that i am waiting.. No update from new delhi visa office. Can anybody suggest how long i will have to wait now.

exactly we should consider 40 months but it is upto them time can be less or more.

aot chemistry =12 masters =12, french not submitted , ielts 5.5 =4 , age 16( 31 when submitted) ,experience 8 fin suff=1

12+12+16+4+8+1=53 . i have question in mind that as i got AOR in dec 2011 when poits of a2 french was 6 , so now i want to submit a2 , will i get 6 points . pl z suggest

waited 45 months . i have only two numbers Ind ref number HAxxxxxxx and file no HAxxxxxxxxx.

yes you will be treated as per old rules and get marks of a2

Still you are waiting? They have not asked anything from you?

yes i called them on +15148649191 then 911 they said ur file is complete and we are processing you application. i dont sent any french but filled begginer a2 in form so i think immigration officer may ask me to submit a2. also no tax docs or pf docs were submitted so wat i do now as i am waiting from 45 months.
In my view my file is in preliminary review stage but it crossed the timeline of preliminary review 41+3+... as per processing times of india

very soon you will get some documents request here i will explain if you did not send along with your application. your birth certificate ,legality of work experience, transcript of degree or diploma that you sent,tax documents please get ready all these documents.

The Quebec government has also introduced a cap on application intake as follows. The maximum numbers of applications accepted include:
• Business people: Investors: 1750 / Entrepreneurs and self-employed workers: 500
• Skilled workers: 20,000
This will allow the Quebec government to process applications faster and deal with the current backlog. As of June 30, 2013, 77,363 applications for a Certificat de sélection du Québec were pending (65, 202 from skilled workers, 11, 920 from investors and 241 from business people).
In 2011-2012, Quebec received 7,179 immigration applications from investors, 275 from entrepreneurs and self-employed, and 53,890 from skilled foreign workers.

53890+20000-65202=8688 only 8688 applications processes in a year

53890+20000+6500=80390
yearly selection rate =27000
so min waiting time 80390 divided 27000=3 yrs
adjustment as many application from india and due to selection through different regions over the world = 10 months
36 +10=46 months wait
