Kanmar,

2nd AOR means the next correspondence/letter from Quebec after they've assessed your application.

After receiving the first AOR (the file number etc.), until when I should expect the second AOR (assessment of file or interview date etc.) from Quebec Immigration for CSQ?
I applied from Ontario (Canada - excluding Quebec), and I am not in priority stream.

Any idea? or previous experience, please do share. Thanks!

If u want you can check my timelines and it will give you an idea about it :

31-Jan-2010 : File sent frm Ontario to Quebec
10-Feb-2010 : First AOR received with my File Number
10-Jun-2010 : Second AOR received informing me my number on the waiting list for having an interview with a visa councillor at NY
Till Date : Waiting their call/third AOR for final Date of my interview and expecting to hear from them soon.
This waiting time is killing man.

any way Good Luck to all 8)

no quebechopefull, do u want me to ask them?? Do u think there is nothing wrong in contacting them to ask about interview date or why process is taking too long?? In the country like India where people who applied for CSQ (BIQ HK) are getting their CSQ decisions within 6 months. ::)
thanks

I agree sher_singh it was strange for me too .. how the processing time outside Canada and USA is much longer than any where else that's sounds silly ;D

sorry I mean outside canada and usa take shorter time, sorry for confusion ;D

Sher-singh,

I think you should contact them. You have nothing to lose. Just politely let them know that you haven't received any information regarding the interview date since June, and you want to confirm that you're still in line for the interview. Also include your file number when contacting them.

It seems very unusual that they haven't contacted you since June. That's a long time to wait especially for North American applicants.

@ Really: my area of training is Industrial Chemistry which happens to be on the list of preferred training;
I also fill-out my forms in french cos i figured that will make its assessment very easy for them cos i am applying to BIQ-Paris.
Also for any one to get an interview waiver, one must be able to secure @ least 55 points in stage two of the screening. only those who secure less than 55 points ( between 49 and 54 for single applicant ang between 57 and 62 for doule applicants) @ stage two of d selection process get called for interview with d hope that they will be able to secure part or all of the remaining 6points marked out for the Adaptability factor

Hello egrace,

I am trying to send you a reply but you inbox is full. Could you please clear it. Thanks a lot.

quebechopefull, today i called to them to enquire regarding my case and the person told to me to wait and i shall receive/hear sumthing before January.

hoping sumthing good for hear, and could you plz tell me wht wud it mean by their following countries processing times:

Bermuda, Canada (excluding Québec), Puerto Rico, Saint-Pierre and Miquelon, United States, Virgin Islands (American)

No selection interview
for these countries currently 1 and 2 ??

merci!!

Sher-Singh,

Thanks for the update. I hope you now feel better knowing that they didn't forget about you ;D I'm glad they were helpful.

Regarding your question, it means that interview dates have not been set for those countries.

Hi All,

I just saw an update on Quebec Immigration website, that for applicants from Canada (excluding Québec) and United States ... "No selection interview for these countries currently".

What does this mean?
- Does it mean that our applications will be evaluated without an interview?
- Or we keep on waiting for a selection interview?
- Or there is a delay in scheduling the interview for applications in these countries?

Previously for applicants from Canada (excluding Québec) and United States, it mentioned all application processed received till January 2010. But now it says that "No selection interview for these counties currently".

Any idea, what does this mean? Thanks!
