That's good news dignity, now we now they are working on our files....let's hope for the best.
My lawyer also send Beirut office a letter, asking them that i wanna to transfer my file in my country of birth , becouse there the processing time is 12 month and Beyrouth 31 month, and asking them about the procedures. No answer from them till now.
He also told me that Beirut agents are well prepared in immigration.
let's hope , hope and hope

Dignity3 thanks for sharing the info, but what is your DA number, could you please tell me your status, I am trying to find out someone close to my case, so I can track the progress.
1st of all in which phase you are, Before CSQ or in the Federal Phase.
I am in the Federal Stage, 24 Months + and waiting
My Dossier number is : DA 30674

Dignity, m glad you got a reply, i have been trying for more than a year to get a reply to my emails which are about change of address and phone, so far the embassy has NO MEANS of REACHING ME since they have not confirmed or updated my contact info , the operator at the embassy was very rude and refuses to listen to any details mentioned while only saying "send an email", i have been doing that for more than a year and i have absolutely no idea how the embassy will be able to call me .... anyone got any Idea?



P.S. sorry i have been away for a while and might have missed several topics, if needed do leave me a private message and i will get a notification on my email.

and abu dhabi became 33 months it was b4 19 months then 26 months and now 33 :'(

stupid.......

they should come and beg me to go to live in there fridge.... slowly slowly i feel not interested anymore to go there,
if my fiance wants to live there ill leave her hehehe

Here below, you can find a mail sent by myself to my lawyer and the "shocking" reply received from him.


Dear Mr. ***,

As you have previously advised me in the below email, I am always checking the processing dates of my application on the cic web site since april 2012. I noticed that with every update of the related page, 3 to 6 months were added to the processing time of the files in the canadian embassy. They are now 36 months.
So I am thinking that this might take much longer than it seems. Any idea what can we do to push it? Can you do something from your part?

Thank you for your constant support. I really appreciate your help.

And the reply was :

Dear Mr. ***,

I apologize on behalf of the Canadian government that cannot respect its commitments with people, unfortunately. All immigration practitioners are pushing to reduce the processing time, but the conservative government is not cooperating. All what I can tell you at this stage is that your application is approved and decision cannot be changed. I'll keep you informed if and when anything related to your file is received.

As u know i sent my federal file on 6 June 2012 and last month i asked Beirut office to transfer my file in my country of origin, couse the process time there is much less.
Today i got the answer from Beirut embassy:
"Veuillez noter que nous ne pouvons pas transférer le dossier.
Votre dossier sera en cours de traitement dans les six prochains mois
Merci pour votre compréhension,"
I believe that are good news, means stating next year they will work hardly with our files.

Keep up ur spirits,

Hi Ricolouna,

I am a little confused. If you applied for the federal part in June 2012 and your file will be processed in the next 6 months...what about the rest of us who have applied to the federal part since 2010. I just feel like they are skipping people. Under what class did you apply?

I applied under Skilled worker....me and my kids we hold European passports , i like to believe they take this into consideration. From my country of origin u get medicals in 6-7 month and after in 2-3 month the visa. But as i am living in Beirut i applied from here. This is the answer i got when i asked them to transfer my file. Hope it's true

Why they should be on hold?? this happens only in Lebanon or worldwide? :'(
