whats the difference between criminality and police certificates isnt the same if you have anyhting on your certificate?
and please one more thing in how many countries your fiance were to get certificates not only one ?

He only resided in Lebanon...so only the Lebanese police certificates.

Not having a criminal record doesn't mean you're not a criminal...it just means you haven't been caught lol...so they still need to investigate to make sure. Plus in Lebanon, anything can dissapear with $...

he told me the security check will take 6 monthes from medical date
and wana know how much in 3 years they transfered files to romania ?
i swear he told me over 1.000.000 files transfered to romania and if you can check times in romania it was 12 monthes now 19

but the major question is ?
do you beleive that they will send for each one a man to invastigate about him ?

No doubt that the backlog has play a huge role in the processing times. But yes, I do believe they are thorough when it comes to security checks. Wouldn't you want to make sure the people immigrating to your country are not criminals?

It's been 8 months since the medicals...and yet there's no visa. The processing time for Bucharest went from 14 months down to 12 months.

You decided to keep your file moving and immigrate after all?

They check if your police certificate is not forged and they also check with the Interpol if you're wanted in Lebanon or other countries, but it usually takes lots of time because Lebanon is not that advanced when it comes to looking up someone's criminal record.

I don't think the 6 months thingy is accurate, most of us have been waiting for almost 7 months now, if not more...

Does that mean they will extend the CSQ (again) and the medical? Because in my fiance's case if he receive his visa in February, his CSQ would have been expired for the second time, and his medical would only be valid for 3 months. Which means the validity of his visa will be 3 months...which is fine with us.

yes the will extend it for 1 year and visa for 3 monthes only
and now they wont send csq extension to you they will send it directly to romania and the system wil ypgrade it to avoid loosig of time

It's 12 months for QSW...you're checking for FSW...anyway at least it went down, it used to be 14 months.
No one is saying they will send an investigator to do research...they will just check the various systems...that's all. But this process does take time...cuz government employees take their sweet time with everything they do!
