i think security check is after medical or in the same phase , else why they ask us for police certificate and exemption from military service certificate after we did medical!?

then I asked them if the waiting or the delay of the application is due to the fat o security
they told me we make the security check before asking the medical because if there is something in your security check then there is no need for medical
and the delay is because of the large numbers of applications they told me they are responsible of bulgarie - Romania - Lebanon - moldovia

in case the security and crime background is done for all of us and medicals done why don't they issue visas for every one and then no more backlogs and less emails and inquiries which facilitate their work! specially that they can redirect the visa issuance to beirut VO so they reduce the load in there! and the CAIPS and GCMS notes showed the opposite of that, something is not logical bl ossa..

Maybe he depends on the officer, because my caips notes showed medical done, security not yet started.
I don't see why the MP would lie to me...what's in it for them to lie? Whether they tell me they are waiting for security checks or they are waiting due to backlog...in the end waiting is waiting.

No he's not. He's Canadian, and I've known him for a long time. I went to school with his kids. He's actually known as being a very helpful person in Ottawa.

No idea. How do we know the embassy is not lying to you? The caips notes match what I've been told. Maybe due to military service it takes longer? Maybe in some visa offices, background checks are done before the medical. But to me, it would be a waste of money and resources. Why would Canada spent $ on background checks if someone may fail the medicals.

Anyway I'm sick and tired of talking about this. Everyone can believe what they want...the truth is we are all waiting and there's a backlog.
