i landed last saturday at pearson airport.. it was the easiest thing ever.. and on tuesday we did our SIN papers at the main city hall.. kamen.. so easy.. pple are so nice and willing to help.. yalla 3a2belkon..

i think you can go directly to Ontario, my friend got his immigration with QSW, then he went with his family directly to Ottawa, they didn't tell him anything on the airport and he got a good reception and till now 4 years in Ottawa and no one ask him about his landing in Ontario.

I remember my aunt she was montreal and moved out, she had lot of troubles she paid 15 or 25000 i dont remember what she told me.
she lost her SSN and something else that was 1985. they say it was so easy.

I think now they can take actions like deportation

okay but i think they can do nothing, you can say i have a good offer in Ottawa, at the end Cananda is one Canada and the immigration visa isn't specific for Quebec

In theory you're right...once you receive your Permanent Resident Card it's for Canada not only Quebec. However, it's better to be safe than sorry. The government is trying to be strict and the proof can be seen with what happened to csaade.

that's great! Where did you settle? You arrived in Toronto, did they say anything about being a QSW and landing in Ontario?

hey im here only now for couple of weeks than coming back to lebanon so we can prepare to move.

im an fsw not qsw .. but anyway they dnt ask you anthg..

Hey Gents,

I got my CSQ (QSW) few days ago and I am now in the process of collecting all necessary documents/forms before sending out to Sydney. I will not send the required police clearances along the applications because I need to get a police clearance from the US and that would take between 14 and 18 weeks (!!!). Before I proceed, I would like to obtain any tips or advices from others - matters that would most importantly shorten the timeline of course. I am Damascus office... On the CSQ it says that my regional office is Abu Dhabi / it's where I currently live.

I know that they had big issues in the past 3 years because of the Syrian crisis - but hopefully things have geared up again now. One more thing, on my CSQ it says Priority Treatment, does it mean anything at all?

you will be lucky if they consider you as lebanese and then send your file to bucharest, you can get your medicals in couple of months, the priority treatment is only a decoration in the federal part, not sure if they will accept your federal file without the police clearence, anyway good luck!
