Quebec applicants 2010(Damascus) waiting for medicals

Hey everyone, I am still investigating the possibilities that might caused so far (from the looks of it) my application refusal before i send a letter to the new VAC office in beirut.

from before the transfer of applications to beirut I received an email requesting my info update:

Dear Sir/Madam,

This refer to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

Please submit a written statement indicating any changes since you submitted your application for all applicants age 18 and over in:
- Your personal history (employment, education, membership or association with organizations, government positions).
- Your addresses
- Your marital status
- Your family composition
- Please indicate all travels done since you submitted your application (dates, purpose of trip, countries visited).

Provide updated police certificates for all applicants age 18 and over from your current country of residence and if you or any of your family members have resided in any country for more than 6 months, please submit original police certificate from that country.
Failure to provide the requested information within 60 days could result in the refusal of your application.

I spoke to my previous lawyer whom said that I should write a handwritten letter stating that there has been no changes to any of my status , then sign it. So thats exactly what i did but i am wondering if there was a form to be filled or did I need to get new copies of the same documents.
how did you update yours ?

Did you get a confirmation saying tehy have received your letter? Maybe it was never received.

that emails is old ofc, now which documents should I send and how would i know that? i am sure about the new passport copy but have no idea what is required to send in addition to the letter and pp copy

Don't send in anything unless they ask you too. Just send them a photocopy of your new passport and askk them to update your file. Are you sure your file is still in Beirut?

Stick to the letter and passport copy to begin with. If they need any further documents they'll let you know. Make ur letter convincing...

Well in fact they didnt request any new passport copy, there has been no communication on their behalf since 2 years, still send the copy?

Yes, so they know ur passport is valid, they require an identity proof to update ur file

that is the main issue Cssade, they are NOT letting me know of anything, complete silence for the last 2 years and i have no idea where my application is, Beirut, Bucharest...

Be aggressive with a good manner in ur letter. Insist on telling them that you're worried about your file that it might be lost... You have all the right to send letters and emails until they reply, cause u have exceeded the processing time mentioned when u first applied

this looks like the new office for visas and documents? they even got an online tracking application

as soon as u finish the letter, keep a copy in case beirut office tells u that ur file is in romania. this way u can mail the same letter to the office there. sign the letter too
