Well the reviews show that Ottawa is the most boring city... So I wonder why I'm landing there in August. Maybe I should reroute my trip to Trudeau

LOL it is! It's all government buildings and museums.

But also, I work for a finance company for doctors...not the most exciting group of people! lol

what's everyone prediction for the passport request timeline after the medicals?

from medical to passport 3 years and half

is it embarassing to take the money? hahaha or they deposit to bank account

looking forward for 3-4 years jobless time, same time i wait for visa,,,

Go work at any shop on st Catherine's street and you'll be fine, especially apple store or future shop
Just don't trip over some homeless dude or the Salvation Army guys cause it happened to me LOL

Hey everyone, I am still investigating the possibilities that might caused so far (from the looks of it) my application refusal before i send a letter to the new VAC office in beirut.

from before the transfer of applications to beirut I received an email requesting my info update:

Dear Sir/Madam,

This refer to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

Please submit a written statement indicating any changes since you submitted your application for all applicants age 18 and over in:
- Your personal history (employment, education, membership or association with organizations, government positions).
- Your addresses
- Your marital status
- Your family composition
- Please indicate all travels done since you submitted your application (dates, purpose of trip, countries visited).

Provide updated police certificates for all applicants age 18 and over from your current country of residence and if you or any of your family members have resided in any country for more than 6 months, please submit original police certificate from that country.
Failure to provide the requested information within 60 days could result in the refusal of your application.

I spoke to my previous lawyer whom said that I should write a handwritten letter stating that there has been no changes to any of my status , then sign it. So thats exactly what i did but i am wondering if there was a form to be filled or did I need to get new copies of the same documents.

how did you update yours ?

Just write the letter and they'll accept it. I wrote one while I was at the embassy's doors in Beirut back in the summer of 2012, they called me immediately the day after to get more clarifications. If u update ur info through the inquiry online they'll tell u not to send anything unless they ask u to. Write ur letter and send it. It's ur right to know what's happening to ur file. Issue whatever docs u need and send them

that emails is old ofc, now which documents should I send and how would i know that? i am sure about the new passport copy but have no idea what is required to send in addition to the letter and pp copy
