Hello all
Today I received a call from embassy in Amman, and asked if I applied for CSQ renewal, as it is expired, and I replied that i did not, so she informed that they will apply for CSQ renewal, and they will request passports for visa stamp within couple of weeks.
My timelines;
CSQ recieved 5/2009
Federal start processing 3/2010
File transferred to Amman same date to all
Medical requested and visa payment 2/2013, medicals and certified cheque sent 3/2013

Is there priority in Federal?

If someone was priority in CSQ will be priority in FEDERAL?

unfortunately not anymore!! i have 2 friends who were priority domain in CSQ and they got job offres when they applied to federal and they still waiting for medicals since 2010, 2011 plus i was priority in CSQ and now it has been 6 months and my file still not in process yet!

NEVER EVER do such a thing .. i know one case for someone who lives in Quebec for years and got good job in ontario, as soon as he applied and they new from tax number he got mail of intention to get refused immediately ..

Never do that !

do they just enjoy watching ppl losing their years for nothing!!
i have been waiting for application form from the nurses association in quebec since june 2012 and they keep replying been updating them!!! while 2 other associations outside quebec emailed me the whole required process within couple of days!!

Caips follow up request sent, nothing but to wait now, m still pondering if my CSQ would get renewed otherwise i got an impression that my file fell behind a cupboard in the lebanese office, these things happen frequently in lala land.

Hello everyone , been a while, I hope you are all coping well and Congrats to all who got their medicals recently, as for me I have no effing idea anymore on why m not getting my medicals yet while my Fed's date was February 21 2010 and now i hear most that applied after that date are getting their medicals apart from Jet and myself, there are no news and no replies and we definitely exceeded the time designated on the time table, is there a process that we can do to by-pass the local office just to get answers?

hello again lmastory,yes it hv been some time since u appeared. i believe the best u shuld try to see if your fike hv been transfered to romania .as may be this delay of ur file is due to not been transferred to romania and instead to be proceeded in beirut office it self.

should i ask for caips if nothing new to my file. the only update i have is started processing Nov 2010. And file transfered to Beirut Feb 2012. Will caips give me an idea or is it useless to order it now ?

So, they told you that after 2 months of the medical you will get the ppr and they were credible.
We are so in need to hear such a good news,,, hopefully, all things will be ended very well with you ... And wishing we hear ppr's from Beirut and Romania and Amman.. Finger crossed

my friend is another CSQ applicant, he received his CSQ in 4 months and applied for federal in 2010, he was contacted this week telling him his file was transferred to romania and he needs to update his file, the weirdest part he has signed a job offre since then and still waiting!! if they dont consider him they should have taken into consideration the canadian institute that needed him!! hopefully, we all hear some good news soon..

Yes, another example of people who may have had priority for CSQ don't have it for federal. Same situation as my fiance. He got his CSQ after 4 months with no interview but had beeing waiting for medicals since 2010.

It seems they are sending lots of files to Romania. Hopefully they don't backlog Bucharest as well!

hey guys, i just received my CAIPS notes actually GCMS request how the form says, after 4 weeks from the request, it is 23 pages, there is no codes like you used to talk guys, and no BFD, but obviously my file has been in process in Bucharest since Feb 2013 and i had no idea!!! ecas still mentions app received and thats all! security check hasnt started yet, medical exams due date 03-feb-2014 exactly one year after my file opened so that means 2 more months for passport request, like that they still adopt the 14 months processing time

obviously there was no any mentioning of priority file or anything..

thanks god! no matter how long it takes just knowing about it, lets one relaxes..
