Hello everyone , been a while, I hope you are all coping well and Congrats to all who got their medicals recently, as for me I have no effing idea anymore on why m not getting my medicals yet while my Fed's date was February 21 2010 and now i hear most that applied after that date are getting their medicals apart from Jet and myself, there are no news and no replies and we definitely exceeded the time designated on the time table, is there a process that we can do to by-pass the local office just to get answers?

Get someone from Canada to talk to his/her mp to get you some updates or use the CAIPS notes... Don't email the embassy and don't talk to lawyers, they won't do you any good

I did , they called and have been in queue for 52 days, the MP office specified that they would contact them back when their turn is up, any other ideas in the meantime ?
I have done Caips almost a year ago, it was absolutely blank apart from the dates of application and file transfer to beirut.

52 days??? The deadline is usually 4 weeks to get an update... Ask them to contact the embassy again. The minute you get an update about your file you'll have a 6 months wait for the next update

Who's your MP? Mine usually gets back to me within a few days...however it depends on the officer and visa office. But 52 days just to get an answer? I would contact them back and bug them about it...they most likely forgot. So I would follow up. Also, my caips notes were pretty blank as well. What's your bring forward date on the caips?

Seems the MP is either very busy or just doesn't want to get involved in immigration problems. I would talk to a different MP in your families area.

It's really weird. I got my first update in 2 weeks and the second one in 2 days... Shouldn't take that long at all

MP is in Mascouche, that is where my friend is, Caips didnt have a BFD at all

MP from Quebec and asking info from the federal? Won't help a lot I guess

My MP is in Ottawa and my wife contacts him for updates

hmm so, is there a possibility to find a federal MP in Quebec or close to non ?

same here...my MP is from Ottawa. I got an appointment the same week.

Weird that your BFD wasn't included....maybe you should contact a lawyer from Quebec...I spoke to a couple and they said they can put "pressure" on CIC to finalize the file or get info. I know it's not the best option, but maybe it's the only option right now. Try order caips again if yours are out of date.

Yeah I got the same thing ...all blank and 0's for points ...except for the age. But the PSDEC is different...mine says PSDEC 9 15-04-2013...I will re-order in a couple of months because the BFD date is in 2015 and I believe they are out of date since they transfered the file to Bucharest and received the medical. Try ordering them again maybe you will have more info this time.
