Hello everyone, this is my first time writing in this forum.

Yesterday I received my CSQ approval and this is my timeline:

CSQ sent: November 22nd, 2019
CSQ AOR: December 19th, 2019
CSQ Approval: June 12th, 2020
CSQ Approval letter received: June 26th, 2020

I was wondering if someone knows what's the next step and/or an estimate how long until PPR?

In my humble opinion, from what I've seen since I sent the application, the way this department operates is a joke so unfortunately, this doesn't surprise me. I have also sent a general comment/complaint suggesting that they do an audit to improve their services. It's frankly embarrassing. I really hope the nomination of the new minister will bring some positive changes.

There is no straight path for Quebec applicants. The reception of the CSQ doesn't necessarily impact the rest of the PR application process. The best is to check with others who have a similar timeline. Good luck and keep us updated!

Hi,

I would upload a copy on the CIC account and send a copy by e-mail to the Visa Office your application is currently in as soon as possible.

Let us know how the rest of your application is progressing!

It also depends on which Visa office your application is.

Wouldn't they have charged my credit card if they bothered to open my file?

I don’t think so. I received my AOR after almost two months in January. I called them at some point because I was worried and they were able to confirm they had my file. Then, about a week later, they charged my credit card and I received the AOR a few days after that.

It's not related. If they opened your file, it means they have it. They registered my file January 13 and charged the credit card on Jan 21. I don't know what are the timelines now. All I know is that everything takes more time as time goes by.

So I sent a comment/complaint on the PCQ and I got a call this morning. The lady said she will check with MIFI and call me back.
