My husband called yesterday , they told him they are working on our file. And they cant say anything more... he got pissed off and told them that we've been waiting all these months etc etc But they don't care!!!
I understand that frustration...i am also in same boat . I am also pissed of with their process and rude answers. Could we do something abt this??
Did anyone get the following update on their account? If we did not get any request from CIC for months, can I safely assume that it is just a generic message because they are taking more than the 1 year estimate?

I just hope that it is a generic message because it went over a year and not because our file is really "complex"

Hi there. Can you tell me what is your time line and which visa office your file is at? Did they ask you for additional documents during your process?
My timeline is
File received by IRCC: April 2nd 2019
Aor 1: May 13th 2019
Biometric: May 29th 2019
Medical passed: June 20th 2019
File transfered to London Visa Office: Nov 26th 2019
CSQ received: November 28th 2019
"We started processing": Dec 2nd 2019
AOR 2: December 4th 2019
CSQ AOR: January 14th 2020
I only got asked for my marriage certificate because it was missing the union council stamp on May 30th 2019. Other than that i didnt get asked for more documents.
