Qualification Requirment under FSW

Hi there,

I want to know that is there any qualification requirement for the '50 open eligible occupations' for FSW. For example, If I am interested to apply on "4011: University professor and lecturer" then is it compulsory to have PhD degree or all the applications will be assessed on the basis of points of the applicant.

It depends on the requirements for the job you are working at.

A lecturer usually does not have a PHD and teaches classes only at the college or University level

A Professor usually has a PHD and teaches classes as well as engages in research in their field.

So, depends on what you are doing at your teaching job.

Either way you will be awarded points based on your individual application and will qualify (or not) based on those points
