Jenalby, many thanks. The information is really needed. One can at least make plans in the interim.

Do you know if the preliminary verification is starts from pre-AOR or post-AOR period?

From what I grasped from the conversation ,it means after AOR pre-AOR ...

Hello House,

Just recently joined the group. I submitted my application in February, 2014 late February to be precise through a cousin in Canada. However, received an AOR dated 16th June, 2014 in July, 2014 stating my File No and Dossier No. Moreso, that if I have any update about my spouse, change of address, I should update with a form.
I am on the priority list with 16 points(Bsc in Nursing Science), married with a kid and with over 4 years working experience. Although, I graduated from a University from Benin Republic where I had my Bsc.
How much longer do you think I need to wait to get the CSQ and what are the criteria for Interview waiver?
Expecting your reply.

The funniest thing is that I did not include in the package the form for the regulated profession in quebec. Did not realised I had to include it. Furthermore, I did not submit any French result. I only submitted the IELTS result. Regarding the time for Nigeria, I can see 18 months.

What does that mean? Does it mean the time it will take to process the whole application from the time they initially received completed application or Does it count from the time they first receive the package?

Please shed more light.

Thanks

HI, 18 months is only for 1st stage "Verification of documents"
Lets see worst case scenario:

So: 4.7 months to get AOR + 18 months 1st stage+ 1-3 months 2nd stage+1-9 months 3rd stage = 37 months for CSQ + federal stage (15 months average) = 52 months that is 4.3 years waiting in the worst case scenario and like 3.3 years in the best scenario.

For Asian countries right now is a 42 month waiting only for 1st stage is outrageous!

Congrats at least for reaching the final stages of your immigration project.

What did your consultant say about renewing your CSQ?

Hello Everyone. I'm new here. I am a 2013 QSW applicant from the Philippines.Lodged last October 2013 and recieved my AOR last June 2014. I have 57 points in the assessment. I would like to ask your opinion guys regarding what I received last August 5,2014 from MIDI thru an email, the following below is stated in the email:

"Subject: Your Application for Certificate of Selection of Quebec

Sir,

We inform you that your file is awaiting a decision. We will communicate with you again when a decision is made."

I am not expecting, but I'm hoping to be waived from the interview. What does this really mean? Thank you very much to those who are willing to answer my query and can share some similar experience with this.

Again, thank you very much guys. Have a great day!
