B2 is a must if you intend to claim any point in French...yes, B2=5pts, B1= 0(zero) pts

However if you know you have enough points in other areas and don't need even one point from french, then B1 can take you through.
Thanks stylove, but that is serious. DELF B2 scares me. C'est dificile, n'est pas?

Hello Everyone

After the the permanent residency has been approved, how long does a person have before they can relocate? when is it expected of a successful applicant to land in Quebec?

Usually a year from the date you did your medicals.

Some people get their Visas a few months after their medicals meanwhile even on this same forum there're people who got their marple leaf even up till around 9 months after meds.

Once you land, and get your PR Card, and other necessary documentations that prove you are a permanent resident you can go back to your country and come back when you want. PR card is the most important

Thank you do much stylove. I live in Australia and will need time to plan and relocate. Although Australia pay nurses twice more than Canada, I think I will however enjoy the experience canada has to offer.

Sorry for being a nuisance but do you know how long it will take to get a PR card and the necessary documents you stated above?

While since @ stylove is being helpful I might as well make good use of the opportunity. ;)

I have two dependent children to be included in my application, what is my financial requirement? I think I fall under the 37k requirement but not sure because I have gone through the list and still confused.

Please, do I also need to have that money in my account or are they just after my pay slips or work contract showing my annual gross income?

Thanks again for your time

you won't be needing that amount for the time being. That's what you need to have once you landed... :)

So I need to show evidence of the money when I land canada? In a Canadian bank or an Australian bank? Or inform of travellers check?
