what do you mean by camouflage sty?
It is like when a sales guy says, you need to decide fast, because there are so many others waiting and bidding, while actually you are the only buyer. Setting a cap looks like there is high demand for CSQ, and you have to be fast in applying. They camouflage a significant loss of interest in CSQ with these new rules.

Really, really supprise when seeing your timeline. U're so lucky. Many people are tired because of waiting CSQ from 2-3 years. Your case helps them and me fell better. Hope God bless us!
Thanks a lot :) However it's not a matter of luck. I do hold a North American diploma and a license from the Order. I saw many people in the TEFAQ test center that've been waiting for 3 years for an interview.

Ottawa Case Pilot Processing time - REALISTIC

Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum and I was wondering if older users could help me.

I recently received my CSQ and I live in canada on a post-grad work visa.

I know that I have to apply for PR to the Ottawa visa office.
I know they claim that the processing time is around 20 months for federal part of QSW,
but I wanted to know how accurate this processing time is and what is the most likely duration from application date to the issuance of PR card?

Also if 20 months is the most likely time, I would have to leave Canada to go back to my country for job reasons and would not be able to return to Canada for at least a year and half, during this time I would have to perform the mandatory military service of my country and I would not be able to keep my passport for the duration of one year and half ( it will be issued again after finishing the military service ), so I am wondering if for instance the processing time would be short, maybe after 10 months I receive a passport request while not having a passport for another 6 months, could they void my PR application or even my CSQ certificate.

I really appreciate any opinions or information about my questions.

Regards,
Hooman

Hi Stylove,

I have a question !

My wife is Secondary applicant in our QSW file and she is a Nurse by profession. She joined in a new hospital two month before and currently under probationary period for first three month. So she can't get the pay slip for the 3 month period.

So, shall i send the file with an explanation letter stating the reason for not submitting the pay slip for my wife? Is that Okay?????

Please reply.

As far as I know Jacob even with PAID work experience of over 10 years for your spouse, being the secondary applicant will earn you 0 (zero) points for WORK EXPERIENCE. She can only earn you points for EDUCATION, AOT, AGE and FRENCH LANGUAGE ABILITY....and if she has Children with you. That's all. Secondary Spouses DON'T earn points for EXPERIENCE.

PaySlips serve to prove the legality of your work experience and also to prove contributions to social insurance and/or taxes etc, which will not apply in her case as she is the secondary applicant.

Conclusion: Go ahead and send your application with what you have in hand and forget about your spouse's payslips.

My own opinion/point of view only!!!!! and Hope it helps.

Stylove.

I got a federal file number today ;) Should be a good sign. Seems that things are going smooth until now and even more than I expected.
Had to call FBI yesterday to ask about my clearance, but in the US all document requests and everything takes very long. I suppose they won't decline my fingerprints that were taken with in an "ancient" style with a dye instead of luminescent element :). But even then I got a federal case opened up. Wish everyone here gets the same timeline in terms of speed! Yeeha ;D
Hey Buddy
Congrats!!Hope we all also follow u

Hey folks,

I am very confused and hoping I can find help here. I have no knowledge of French and scored 8 band in IELTS. I have 5+ years of work experience and am an Aerospace Engineer. I qualify for FSWP (74 points) and QSW (49 points). At this point I am having issues summing the settlement funds.

Questions I have:
1. Isn't FSWP for residing outside Quebec in Canada and QSW for residing in Quebec?

2. Can I apply for both FSWP and QSW 2013? Won't the Canadian Immigration Dept. get confused and question me on where do i really want to move?

3. How much settlement funds/proof of finances are required for QSW 2013? I know for FSWP 2013 for single applicant it is CAD11115.

4. Do I need separate applications of FSWP and QSW? I understand the process for FSWP very well, could any of you guys forward me a decent link that explains the terminology for QSW. What is AOT?

5. Is the processing time for QSW longer than FSWP?

6. Will I have to learn french to pass the interview/immigrate to Quebec (I believe I have to give the adaptability interview since I have 49 points only)

Thanks sooooo much in advance guys. I would highly appreciate any response. Thanks again
