I have read your post about background and security checks.. currently we're waiting for PPR. but I'm so afraid of what would be the result of our application. I am the principal applicant. and my husband was employed in UAE before. He decided to just go home and wait for the result of our application. But sir, the problem is, he did not resign from his job(absence w/o leave). plus he is banned from UAE because of his loaned money. will this affect our application? I really need your answer.. please help me..

Hi Ma'am,

Sorry to hear about your situation. However, remember - there's a chance* (a very good chance) that his b/ground check (if done usually) will not reflect that.

*All this provided that u guys could obtain the UAE PCCs (as applicable to whomsoever).

Sir Qorax.. Thank you for your reply.. before my husband went home, he requested for the police clearance and we have already submitted it to the embassy. still i'm too nervous for the possible outcome of our application because of that case..

Relax! Until u r asked again for another UAE PCC*, u r fine.

*Seriously pray that it doesn't happen though.
