My cousin had done his M.Com post graduation and got his first AOR (file no.).
Just 2 days left for the deadline to submit all the docs for 2nd filing during which he found
that all his M.Com certificates are missing. He is not able to trace any document for 2nd filing.

In order to meet the deadline, can he submit only his B.Com graduation certificates.
In this case what will happen? Will his application and papers will be accepted or not?
Or the VO will insist on M.Com certificates?

It will take another 4 months approx. to correspond to the university and get replacement.

Pl adv all options possible or available. Thanks

Hi Pallak,

If your total assessment points comes to 67 points considering B.Com qualification, its fine. VO will not insist on documents bcoz he will consider ur education as graduation and not post graduation. If total points are ok within that , nothing to worry.

But if you are claiming points based on masters which helps in reaching 67 points, then you are short of points.

Thanks Coolguy. The concern is that in CIC (first application form) the education details shows M.Com. Whereas in VO stage we will be declaring it as B.Com.
Will the application will be rejected because of this difference? Will it create any negative impact? Or will they go according to the points only?
Or do we have to give them anything in writing or not?

Besides coolguy's perfect answer... I'd yet file with a MCom & write a cover letter explaining the "lost" situation & ask for additional time to submit those.

BTW, if u change/alter the apps - u r required to write a cover letter explaining that anyway. However, rest assured, it'd not be viewed adversely.
