what should i select under purpose of your visit?

i am going to apply visitor visa for Canada to attend an exhibition. i also have visa invitation letter. now i want your suggestion what should i write under purpose of visit?

i mean in which embassy (ur country), u want to apply for conference visa.

I think u r confused.

You are unable to find some real data.

If u are applying in a conference ur category will be visit visa

If you are from a country that requires a visa to visit Canada, you must apply for a temporary resident visa just like any other temporary visitor to Canada. There is no separate application for business visitors. The temporary resident visa covers all visitors, including those in Canada on business.

Business visitors usually stay in Canada for a few days or a few weeks.
Cross-border business can include activities like:

buying Canadian goods or services for a foreign business or government
taking orders for goods or services
attending meetings, conferences, conventions or trade fairs
providing after-sales service (mainly supervision, not hands-on labour)
being trained by a Canadian parent company you work for outside Canada
training employees of a Canadian subsidiary of a foreign company or
being trained by a Canadian company that has sold you equipment or services.

and my Q was what should i select under purpose of your visit? not a category.. now i hop Canadian embassy in lahor approve my application.

Well

I would like to tell you that i have also applied for conference in Toronto and i got visit visa not buisness visa from Canadian Embassy Islamabad.
May be category is different in your country.

What do you mean by "exhibition"? Like a trade show?

If you are working at the "exhibition", you will need to apply for TRV (Purpose of visit: Business), and also obtain a work permit.

If you are attending the "exhibition" as an invited guest/ ticket buyers, you will only need to apply for TRV (Purpose of visit: Tourism).

My sister in law is getting married in Canada in July and I want to attend hee wedding.all my inlaws and husband are canadians) . Is it possible for me to apply for visit visa TRV to Canada from Malaysia(Singapore office)? If yes,how long does it take?
