Purpose of Travel Alternative

Good day,

I'm applying for a visitor's VISA and one of the required documents is the purpose of travel, and they give some examples such as flight ticket or medical appointment.

However, I plan on visiting Canada next year and hence have no such proof. Is there an alternative I can use?

Even if you are applying for next year you still need to indicate your date of travel on the application forms. To support these dates you need to provide the following
1. Flight Itinerary > You are not advised to purchase a ticket. You can get from Expedia (other sites) or you can just scan from the airline the flights you wish to book.
2. Your planned day to day itinerary. > Includes the places you want to visit or your planned activities.
Day 1- 2 Recover from jetlag
Day 4 - 6 Visit Niagra Falls
Day 7 Meet friends Downtown
