I would like to know what the procedure is for purchasing a property Single Family Home for about $ 170,000.00. Is it wise to pay up cash? This would swipe all my savings - but I do not like to have debts... On the other hand I would like to know that after having paid heavy taxes in Kenya would there likely be a further Canadian tax liability for the savings that I do come with ??? We have already made our first two month visit to Canada to see where our base would be - and have selected Edmonton. However, are there any repercussions of tax liability for my tax deducted earnings? Kindly advise...
