PRTD help required--- urgent

Hi

I have a problem, while I was waiting for my PR card I had to come back to India and when I went today to Chandigarh to apply for PRTD they said it takes them approximately 30 days to process the request but I have to be back by 25th august 2017 what are my other options for travelling back to Canada if i don’t get PRTD issued i do have my valid visa stamp that has not been crossed out.

The only problem is with the airline. Some people have successfully traveled on TRVs obtained prior to becoming a PR, but technically as CBSA is supposed to cancel all TRV/permits/visas etc this may already be invalid. So you can certainly attempt to fly back on old TRV, but if airline can determine you're a PR or if your TRV was cancelled, you will be denied boarding.

Only guaranteed way to travel back to Canada without PR TD or PR Card, is to travel to USA and cross into Canada via land border.
