I was preparing my application for PRTD. I am not worried about RO since landed few months back. Now when I contacted the VFS abu dhabi, they have sent a supplementary form. This form has Questions such as
Applications without this form will be returned unprocessed.
1) If you are currently residing outside Canada, are you permanently relocating to canada on this trip?
If yes , please provide details______________________
2) How many years have you resided in Gulf? __years_____months
3) What is the expiry date of your residence visa?
Country of issue:___________ Expiry date (dd/mm/yyyy)
4) What is the sponser`s name indicated on your residence visa?
I am wondering why such a form is required, and is it required for Abu Dhabi VFS only?
Is travel to canada not a right of PR holders, and residence obligation requirements set by them to two years in five? I mean potential immigrants may plan accordingly to permanently settle.
