PRTD From Dubai

I recently landed in Canada as immigrant and waiting for my initial pr card. However, I urgently have to travel to Dubai for 2 weeks and I doubt receiving the pr card before my travel date. Will I be able to get my PRTD in 2 weeks through Dubai VFS to return back to Canada?

2 weeks is unlikely but you can certainly try. Apply as soon as you land and explain that you need urgent processing and include proof of your flight,. If you do receive your PR card ask someone to courier it to Dubai. Hopefully the flight can be rescheduled at no cost or minimal if you don’t get a PRTD in time.
