I am permanent resident protected person residing in Canada. I filed asylum back in 2017 and recently received my PR card. Now I would like to clarify few things about my situation. My basis of claim was against the government of my country. In the past six years that government has changed, the new government is not harassing my family and they are not having any issues too and everyone is safe back home. Now in this six years since my situation changed is there any way I can travel to my home country before citizenship or do I have to wait as long as I don’t have my Canadian Citizenship?
