Protected person change in name

hi.. iwanted to ask if a protected person can change his name through proper channel for use in future.. any comments would be appreciated

I may be way off base, but other than marriage, I believe a legal name would require you to do it through your home country and would require a new passport and ID (don’t think that interaction would be a good idea). To change it here you need to be a Canadian citizen.
