Property document translation needed?

Hi,
I am applying for visitor visa for my parents through an agent. The original Property registration documents are in Hindi and the agent is suggesting to get them translated. Agent is asking for 1000 rupees per page which would be too expensive. I am wondering if this is a hard requirement.

Can't you do it yourself without an agent? Besides, agents don't always did things right and does not increase your chances. However, your agent is right about translate document that is not English or French.

Are you in Canada right now? You can check with your local notary if they can help you with the translation.
