Hi All,

I am applying for express entry under CEC. I have 6 years of foreign work experience, and out of which the first two years and later four years experience are from 2 different employers. While submitting the express entry profile, I added work experience for my entire history (6 years), even though my intent was to claim my second employer's foreign work experience only (as it is only 3 years that matters).
When I received the ITA, I am required to upload supporting documents for both the employers, but I have the reference letter for the 4-year experience job. Could you guys suggest what's the best way forward? Since I am not claiming points on the 2-year stint, I was thinking of attaching a Letter of Explanation stating that I am planning to claim points for the 4-year experience for which I have provided the reference letter. Do you think that would work, is there any other better solution?

Thanks in advance for your help.

For foreign work experience, you can claim work experience of past 3 years,( correct me if I am wrong) so I do not think that would be a problem if you write an explanation note. Seniors cam comment.

I believe when you are entitled to fsw and cec, cec would always come first. I read that somewhere on cic website. Also Iam under those two streams and I provided both proof of Works. I didn't want to make a big deal of that.

While filling ITA I figured that there is another section for prior history for the past 10 years. I don't have proof of work for my prior 2-year experience. Anyways thanks for your help. I will go ahead with providing a LOE stating I want to claim the foreign work experience for the past 3 years only.
