PROOF OF SETTLEMENT

Hi Guys,
Apart from the proof of available settlement fund sin Bank Statement,
What is the maximum cash we can take along myself and wifey?
We are trying to take as much as we can on a trip.
What is the Law saying concerning this?
We know that $9,999 can be carried without declaring it
But can each of us have $9,999 on us AND STILL BE FINE NOT DECLARING IT.
Despite having our bank statements still showing the mandatory settlement funds?
Need your comment and help pls

You have to declare any amount more that $10,000 cash(Total & not individual allowance). However if you are carrying it as TC/Bank Draft etc it can be any amount( No Restriction). Also if you are travelling from US, make sure you declare it in the US post as well.

there is no problem in carrying as much as you want. just make a declaration and it's fine.
