Hi Folks,

I am in the process of applying for my PR renewal, regarding the supporting documents for Proof of residency i have the following queries:

Out of 2 proofs required to submit, i have NOAs from CRA for last four years. For the next one can i submit the T4 statements?

If i submit payslips, it would way too many slips covering last 5 years.

I know we can add bank statements, but again how many bank statements(covering how many months) should i submit?

Also can I add license as one of the proofs?

Plus for passport copy, should i just include the first and last page of the passport containing my details Or should i scan the pages with immigration entry/exit stampsPlease advice.

If you meet the RO, you need two documents. That’s it.

So for example two NOAs. Or one pay slip and one bank statement. Or any other combination.

One payslip or bank documents means covering the timeline of one month?
You do not need to cover any particular 'timeline,' nor the entire time you've been in Canada. Just provide two documents - examples from their list - that show you were in Canada some of the time.

You were already told two NOAs is good. Do that. Don't overthink it.

Thanks, sorry another question - for passport copy does first and last pages are enough. Or should i scan the pages with immigration stamps?

Please just follow the instructions.

The general guidelines for PR card applications state the following re: ID documents:

Note: The copy should show:
  • the document type and number;
  • issue and expiry date;
  • your name;
  • your photo; and
  • your date of birth
In most cases, the requirements above are satisfied with the biodata page of the passport. If your particular passport has any of the above information on a different page, then you obviously need to include that one also.

Hey thanks a ton, my passport's first and last page covers all of these, thanks a lot for clearing this up
