I have a query regarding proofs that are valid for Change in Name.
In 2002, i had changed my family name. I had official gazette received to me and my whole family, but i have this in Marathi language and not in English. Since 2002, all my official documents, i.e. educational certificates, my passport, all documents are updated with the new name.
Will these can be a proof?
In addition, for my wife, after marriage the family name was changed and we have gazette too. Also have marriage certificate with the new name, also all new documents later has the new name, i.e. Aadhar card, passport, marriage certificate.
Will these be a proof for name change in PR application?
Will gazette with local language can become as a proof as name change. Recently i came to know that gazette in english can also be printed. Surly this will be a proof but it will have recent date. Will this suffice as a document?
