I came to Canada as a student so I submitted by transcripts (for my bachelors) , a copy of my degree.

- You can do the same or you can take any of the registered English Tests available like IELTS etc. If your education credentials are foreign ideally you should also get a letter from the institution stating the language of Instruction was English.

Hi! CIC has a tool for you to see what you should submit based on your specific circumstances. Take a look at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/citizenship/language.asp.
