Hello Captain,
I know of course through your posts that i can carry more than you mentioned.
My concern is if i carry more money at first arrival, will it be totally exempt from tax?
Next, i am planning to open account in Scotia Bank in India, where i will deposit the amount.
As quoted it will serve as P.O.F.again will the amount be tax free there be till i reach and start
operating?
Thanks.

U can bring-in Millions -- all will be tax free.
It's not the amount which attracts tax... it's the interest/investment-gains of that fund that accrues taxes.
