Proof of Landing Funds while already working in canada

Do i need to show Proof of Landing Funds still, even though you are currently working or authorized to work in Canada already? Is this for the Primary applicant or including the spousal also?

When I applied for PR, I was already working in Canada on a work permit. I did submit bank statements and other financial records along with my application. Not sure if it was mandatory - my immigration lawyer told me to submit them.
