I have received my ITA and I had a question regarding proof of funds. I am the Primary Applicant, and my husband is the secondary applicant.
My father is transferring partial funds into my account as gift and my husband is transferring the remaining amount. We are based in Dubai but we will be showing our funds in our Indian account.
W.r.t. to my father's transfer, he will provide me with an affidavit declaring it as a gift. Does he also need a gift deed, I read that as per law Muslims don't need it, only an affidavit is enough.
Secondly, do I also need this proof from my husband, since he is already a co-applicant and my spouse too?
I have checked the forum and some online articles, but most questions revolve around transfers from father only.
