Hello,

I have received my ITA and at the stage of making the documents ready for eAPR. While, I'm planning on my proof of funds It's not very clear what are reliable assets that are accepted as proof of funds. The only main guideline I see is to use only liquifiable assets. Anyway, here is what I have right now:
  1. 10000 CAD in Fixed Deposit
  2. ~7750 CAD in my 401K account while I worked in US(I'm no longer in the US if that is important )

While these are well above the funds needed for a Single person i.e $12,475, I'm really concerned if showing my 401K does not really count towards proof of funds. It would really be helpful and clear my mind if someone can give some of information on this.

Also, I see it is recommended to have your funds for at least 6 months under your holding, Is it 6 months before ITA or before submitting eAPR? Does not having funds for a period as longer as 6 months going to affect my chances?

Thanks,
