I have two queries and would appreciate a response. I searched the forum but could not arrive at a clear cut answer.

1) I have to show $20599 as proof of funds. Can I show this broken up in multiple saving accounts/fixed/recurring deposits? or should all the money be in one account? (these are in mine as well as my wife's accounts)

2) Should this be shown only in Canadian dollars or the local currency of the country is acceptable? This is for New Delhi Visa office.

1. POF can be in any number of bank accounts, any number of FD,RD's in any number of banks. It can be in your account, in your accompanying spouse account, joint as well.

2. It can be in Indian/ local currency also.

Hi,

1) Yes its ok to show in multiple accounts as long as its on your name or the person included in the application.

2) No it does not need to be in Canadian Dollar but it should be quivalent to the minimum Canadian dollars you need to show.
