I have a few questions:

Can i get the funds tranferred to a newly opened bank account under my name?
Does the sender and receiver need to be in the same country to prepare gift deed?
Is sender and receievers signatures required on the gift deed or affadivit?
What is the difference between affadivit and gift deed? What purpose affadivit serves?

Please any help will be much apprecaited. thanks.

Hey folks! a quick question about when to get a gift deed. i received a gift from my parents but this was after I received my ITA. Would the fact that i disclosed I have sufficient funds to meet the minimum threshold on the EE application before receiving the ITA count as misrepresentation? Anyone who has got a gift deed done after receiving an ITA??

Hi,
Was it an issue?

I am in US and my father is going to provide me gift deed from India to my Indian bank account. So is it compulsory for me to be in India to prepare the gift deed(for signing the gift deed)? Or is it ok to that he transfers money to my account and prepares gift deed with only his signature?

were you able to get your answer? i am kind of in a similar situation i dont know if both parties need to be in the same country or not...?

No. I am still figuring out. I will let you know if I get answer.

ok thanks so much btw do you know if its okay if the funds are transferred to a newly opened bank account because in that case i wont be able to show 6 months average balance.. is it okay?

Is it a must to proof that money transferred to my account is from the account of the person providing gift deed?
If the person sending the money is residing abroad/different country than applicant, can he still provide the gift deed?

Please I need help, I got the ITA one month ago and my father is going to deposit me the money of the proof of fund as a gift deed. The problem is I have not deposited any money in my account in the past 6 months. Should I decline ITA and leave the money in the account for 6 month before applying? or I can continue now and the gift deed would not cause a problem
I am in the same situation. What did you finally do? Did the gift deed work?

OK thank . I do like your information .its straight forward for me :) Cheers.
Hi, I am in the same situation. My dad is in india and I am in US. And he is going to transfer amount to my account. Can you please let me know which documents did you prepare to upload? Thank you.

Hi All, my wife is the primary applicant. I am transferring x amount from my father and y amount from my mother's account and some savings in her account all put together becomes the proof of fund.

Questions.

1. The money transfers were done using multiple transaction. Is that fine?
2. Do i need two separate gift deed from my mother and father. Or one should be good?
Hi I am in somewhat same situation, I am the primary applicant and my father in law transfered the amount to my account. So will it work as a gift deed as he is not mu blood relative?? And a gift deed and affidavit will surfice in this case??

Please suggest

Hi all,

Need some advice here! In my bank account I had more than sufficient funds but in one month I transferred a huge amount to my dads account for investment which he returned the next month. How do I explain this in my POF case? Should I get an affidavit or a gift deed? The money was earned by my salary savings for which I have payslips and tax returns
