Dear All,
If I have two foreign currency accounts in my home country to show as POF (one in USD and another in GBP), how will the CAD equivalent be calculated?

Do I need to show a bank letter, stating the exchange rate at that particular date of submission, or CIC will calculate at its own end?

Also if I get married after receiving an ITA, and I add the spouse to my profile as the secondary applicant, what all documents does he need to show? POF specific? And what additional costs will we have to pay to CIC in terms of application processing fees etc?

TIA

No need of exchange rates conversion, Just submit Balance certificate from both banks as per CIC requirements.

No document is required in terms of POF, its just the funds requirement increases.

VISA fee for one adult is 490+550 CAD
Per Kid 150 CAD

Thank you. So for POF our individual bank accounts with a total of CAD 15,531 would be ok or I as the primary applicant need to show CAD 15,531 in my own bank account?

Secondly, if I get married after receiving my ITA (within the 60 days of submitting my PR application), would my CRS score be re-evaluated?

Funds can be in primary or dependent applicant's account.

Yes, your CRS will be re-calculated.

Regarding re-calculation of CRS:
1. Individually I have a CRS of 478 (master's with 3 years of work experience and IELTS score of Reading: 8, Listening: 9, Speaking: 9 and Writing 7)
2. My fiance is also a master's with approximately same work experience. If he needs to choose between getting ECA done or give IELTS with a decent score, what should we opt for so that our combined score is still high enough for the ITA?

Also in case of re-calculation of CRS how does it work? Will CIC issue a new ITA or will we just have to combine our POF and other documents for submission of PR application within 60 days?
