Proof of fund verification

I am from India and I want to present proof of fund as Bank Fixed Deposit(FD) only.

Is it fine if I present FD as proof of fund?

How they going to verify proof of fund if I present bank FD? :-\

Yes.....FD can be POF....

They may ask for Bank statement of your FD..........or they may contact your bank where you have your FD through your VOs representatives or they may call your bank to confirm........or they may send your bank FD copy or certificate to authenticate..............some of ways I know my friend.......
