I am a national and resident of country A. My wife is a national of country B and is living with me in country A on a permanent residence visa (renewable every two years) for the past 7 years.

Does Proof of Admission apply to spouse as per the document checklist ?

The checklist does not specifically ask for this proof for the spouse. But no harm in providing it.
