I have submitted an express entry profile, and tried to claim points for my husbands work experience as a teaching assistant in Canada. However, after submission, the system gave us no points for my husband's work experience (Spouse Canadian work experience = 0).

If we get an invitation to apply, will we still need to provide proof for my husband's work experience even though we have got no points for it?

In general, will CIC ask proof only for things that points are given to? Or will they still ask for proof for claims that they have given no points for in the express entry profile?

You will have to provide an upload for it as you have listed it, but the officer may not even look at it. So you can upload what you have or you can remove it entirely and just include it in personal history post ita
