What can be done? Do I need anything other than a strong SOP?

What's the use of reference letters when academic profile is weak?

J5M what do you mean?
J5M means that there is no use of reference letter when you can see a straight refusal. the backlogs which you cleared in 6 years has spoiled your profile.
BEST OF LUCK 8) 8)

Is there no point in applying then?

Your profile is not bad. You need to look again at your proposed course. Make no sense.

This is the most relevant course I could find. I have a bachelors in Civil Engineering. I have been associated with the construction Industry for 3 years now. And the course is very pertinent to my previous education and work experience.
